Keep Stick Studio Pro Independent

Stick Studio Pro is a free, browser-based stick figure animation tool built and maintained by one person, not a company. If it's ever saved you time on a project, a school assignment, or a YouTube short, a small donation helps keep it running, ad-free and independent.

The story behind Stick Studio Pro

Stick Studio Pro started as a simple question: why does making a stick figure animation still mean installing heavy desktop software, learning a complicated timeline, or paying for a license before drawing a single frame? Most 2D animation tools built for professional studios weren't designed for someone who just wants to animate a stick figure fight scene, a comedy skit, or a short story for YouTube in an afternoon.

So Stick Studio Pro was built as a browser-based stick figure animation tool — no installation, no plugins, works directly in Chrome or any modern browser. It gives creators a real animation studio: onion skinning, layer control, a recolorable SVG object library, dozens of ready-made scene backgrounds, and full HD export, all inside one tab.

It's built and run by a single independent developer, not a company or a studio. Every feature — the pose editor, the background gallery, the project library — was designed by watching how actual stick figure animators, students, and hobbyist creators wanted to work, rather than copying what expensive professional software already does.

The goal has always been to make stick figure animation software that's genuinely free to start with, easy enough for a beginner's first animation, and still capable enough for creators making recurring content for YouTube, Instagram Reels, or classroom projects. That's also why Stick Studio Pro is often compared to tools like Stick Nodes and Pivot Animator — it aims to be a browser-first, no-download alternative for the same community of stick figure animators.

Donations don't unlock any feature — everything in the free editor stays free either way. What they fund directly is the studio's own growth: faster export rendering, new object and background packs, and the infrastructure that keeps a solo-built product online and independent, without needing outside investors or an ad-supported business model.

Where your donation goes

Faster rendering — better hardware means quicker exports and support for more complex, longer stick figure animations.

New tools & assets — more props, scene backgrounds, and rigging options added to the free object library.

Server & infrastructure costs — hosting, storage, and the cloud save system that lets your projects follow you across devices.

Staying independent — no investors, no forced ads, no paywalling the core editor — built around what stick figure animators actually need.

Common questions

Is Stick Studio Pro really free to use?

Yes. The core stick figure animation editor — posing, scenes, export — is free to use in your browser. Donations support development; they don't unlock hidden features.

Do I need an account to donate?

No. Both the UPI and PayPal options work without creating an account or signing up for anything on this site.

Can I donate from outside India?

Yes — use the PayPal option, which accepts cards and PayPal balances from most countries worldwide.

Is my donation refundable?

Donations are voluntary and non-refundable, since they directly fund ongoing development rather than purchasing a product or service.

How is Stick Studio Pro different from Stick Nodes or Pivot Animator?

Stick Studio Pro runs entirely in your browser — nothing to download or install — while offering a similar focus on stick figure rigging, posing, and frame-by-frame animation that creators know from those tools.
