HOW TO USE THE STICK STUDIO PRO EDITOR
Follow this technical step-by-step breakdown to master our 2D stickman animation engine.
01. Pose Rigging
The Joint Logic
Click and drag any Red Joint on the canvas. Our engine uses inverse kinematics style positioning.
Pro Tip: Focus on the "Hip" joint first to set the center of gravity before moving limbs for realistic animation.
02. Snap Frame
Keyframe Capturing
The Snap Frame button captures the current X/Y coordinates of all actors.
Best Practice: Capturing keyframes at 24FPS ensures the highest quality stick figure fight scenes.
03. Onion Skin
Ghosting Frames
Toggle Onion Skinning to see a semi-transparent version of your previous frame.
Usage: Track "Spacing"—the distance between movements—to avoid jittery animations.
04. Project Save
Local Persistence
Type a name and hit Save Project. Data is written to your browser's local storage.
